 In symbology, a triquetra (word derived from the Latin tri-, "three" and quetrus, "provided with corners") is a symbol consisting of three vesicae piscis, sometimes accompanied by an interior or exterior circle. This shape was used to symbolize groups of three objects or three people.
 The triquetra has been found on runestones from Northern Europe, and on ancient Germanic coins. It likely had a religious significance, linked to Germanic paganism, and shows a resemblance to the Valknut, a symbol traditionally associated with Odin.
 It is a symbol of eternity.
